Funkastic is an A.I. model trained with funky grooves. It's mainly designed to generate Clavi parts, but also works for electric pianos, organs, or even bass lines.
It's built to inspire creativity and help you instantly discover new grooves that can lead to a new song, or simply to jam over.

Pick the generation details
Funkastic lets you be very specific about the generation details, allowing you to choose exactly how you want each groove to be created.
Style: Creative, Flat 5th, Major 7 or Pentatonic.
Mode: Minor, Major, Dominant
Root note: C to B chromatic.
Feel: Straight, Swing.
Notes amount: Dense, Middle, Sparse
Velocity Strength: High, Middle, or Low
Generate or Variate
Click on Generate to get a new generation based on the parameters you picked. Once you find something you like, you can click on Variate to create variations for the same rhythm structure (good for consecutive bars to avoid repetition).
Drag to your DAW track
Generated MIDI is one bar length, and can be dropped to any DAW. If you use the VST version of Funkastic, you can also choose to sync it to DAW to preview grooves matching DAW tempo and Play/Stop commands.

We recorded hours of material performed by our team, with additional contributions from other musicians. After training the model, we requested extensive feedback from the performers to evaluate the accuracy, feel, and authenticity of its output.
The result is a model capable of generating funky grooves that are not only authentic, but also very creative and interesting. Many of the grooves are already being used in songs by our first beta testers.
